I started this blog as a way of learning through writing about some topics that interest me. Most topics are outside of my field. I occasionally publish in peer-reviewed journals but I'm not in academia.

If I sound critical toward a publication or even a discipline, I most likely think it offers something valuable. The constructive criticism is offered from the perspective of an interested (and often confused) reader, not a scholar in the field.
